Eckhaus Capital Investment Company was founded by attorney Alon Eckhaus, who began his financial career at Oppenheimer & Co. in New York at the beginning of 2007, a few months prior to the outbreak of the global Subprime crisis. At Oppenheimer Alon worked with the largest Mutual Funds in the world, managed dollar portfolios for private and institutional clients , advised families in the United States. 

At Oppenheimer Alon operated as a Senior Director Investment Advisor and as Omega Portfolio manager.

In 2019 he returned to Israel with his family and funded Eckhaus Capital with the aim of offering a unique portfolio management service to all types of clients with global exposure.​

Eckhaus Capital Investment Company holds a portfolio management license from the Israeli Securities Authority, maintain proper capital and Insurance according to the requirements of the Israeli law.
